Youngstown is a village in Niagara County, New York, USA. The population was 1,935 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Buffalo–Niagara Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area. Located where the Niagara River meets Lake Ontario, Youngstown is well known for its waterfront activities and sailing is a very popular past time. The view is spectacular. Looking over the many sailboats moored in the harbor you can see the Toronto skyline clearly on a nice day. Youngstown is also home to the Youngstown Yacht club and the famous Fort Niagara. The Fort is a popular destination for history buffs. Fort Niagara State Park hosts the Niagara Pioneer Soccer League which hosts a huge soccer tournament annually in the park.
If you are a sailor you owe it to yourself to visit the quaint community and see for yourself. Once home to the famous Level Regatta sailors from across the county would meet here every summer to test their racing skills.
